I stayed at this gorgeous hillside hotel overlooking the valley for a few nights. The family who runs it were incredibly helpful and welcoming. With plenty of seating areas to enjoy the pool and watch toucans in the nearby forest, the views were amazing. Our room was comfortable with everything we needed and a breathtaking view. The staff went above and beyond, especially with my kids. The location was great and the wild gardens were beautiful. The food at the family-run pub and restaurant in town was delicious, cooked on a wood BBQ.
I do recommend this hotel.

We had the most incredible stay at a charming eco lodge nestled amidst a tropical forest. The beautiful garden was a haven for birdwatchers, and we were lucky enough to spot toucans. The family who owns the lodge were so helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The trail leading to a small waterfall on Rio Sarapiqui was a hidden gem, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the peaceful surroundings. And let's not forget the delicious food at their family-owned restaurant in town! Although the WiFi was only available in the main house, it didn't bother us as we were too busy enjoying the serenity of the property. I highly recommend this eco lodge for a relaxed and nature-filled getaway.

We had an excellent stay at Los Gallitos Eco Lodge. The service was top-notch from the moment we arrived. The historic restaurant, with 140 years of existence, added to the charm. Our room felt like a cozy cabin in the countryside and had a beautiful view from the balcony. The hostess was very friendly and gave us a tour of the whole property. We loved being able to pick our own fruit, and the ribs at the restaurant were a must-try, along with the delicious strawberry shake.

The owners and their family were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and provided us with helpful tips for our stay. They even cooked for us and gave us great ideas for things to do in the area. the hosts really made an effort to accommodate our needs and were always available to assist us. Plus, the location was stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful birds.
The limited wifi availability, as it was only accessible in the common room. the hotel was quite remote, so having a car was necessary.

The family who runs this place really made me feel at home. They were so accommodating and even took me on a hike around their beautiful property. the communal hangout area had an amazing view of the surrounding rainforest, and the food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the ribs. the location was also perfect, being close to major attractions like Poas volcano and the hot springs.
The Wi-Fi only worked at the reception area, which was a bit inconvenient. despite these minor drawbacks, I still had a wonderful stay at this charming eco lodge.

The property is incredibly beautiful and serene. Exploring the surroundings and capturing the stunning nature, animals, and views was such a treat. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and the peaceful atmosphere of the area was truly calming. The owners of the property, who also have a restaurant nearby, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pathway to the restaurant was adorable and the food there was absolutely delicious. the breakfast provided at the hotel was always satisfying.
It would have been helpful to know beforehand that the check-in for the hotel is actually at the restaurant on the main street. Finding the lodge in the dark was a bit challenging.
